Nike Made These?

nike air royal mid qs workboot 1 Nike Air Royal Mid QS Workboot

Its hard to believe that Nike who has recently in my books been lacking with everything they put out has produced a shoe/boot like this. I like the direction they took with it and if it’s reasonably priced I would definately consider buying a pair. They’re less chunky and are probably half as heavy as a Red Wing while keeping the same characteristics of a traditional work boot. Release dates are unknown. Click to see more.

Paul Smith for Evian Water

September 25th, 2009

Last year I posted up the Jean Paul Gauthier x Evian Water design. This year we get a look into a Paul Smith designed bottle. If you know anything about Paul Smith you’d know that he is one of the most creative designers and this bottle shows just what he’s about. I still have my Jean Paul Gauthier bottle so it looks like this will added beside it.

APC X Supreme

September 25th, 2009

Today I woke up to an exciting email, after months of speculation I received the official update from Supreme. They chose to use the classic and most popular cut the New Standard, it features a removable pin and custom embroidery on the back pocket. The collection also features a T-Shirt in both Black and Red. I feel like if you haven’t noticed street wear branching off onto the higher end labels it’s quite obvious now, there’s an onslaught of cut a sew lines coming out. I like the movement but at the same time it means that were going to be dropping more cash to get the goods. Available in store and online October 1st.

September 21st, 2009

ransom1

Hometown native Ransom has received they’re second shipment of the fall/winter collection. I have to say this is one of my favourite brands especially for the price point. The next couple of pay checks will definately be going towards the chore jacket, the chinos, the denim and the quilted shirt which is crazy. I need to stop look at these pictures I want it all!

dr martens spring 2010 preview 1 Dr. Martens 2010 Spring Footwear Preview

Dr Martens is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and I never thought i would say this but they’re super dope! Im seriously contemplating not getting the Red Wings for these. In the pictures they look like canvas but it’s actually waterproof leather. They’re being released in 7 colours and should be out early next year from what I hear. Stay up on these because they won’t last long on the shelves.

Gap 40th Anniversary Pop Up Shop

September 14th, 2009

gap-40th-anniversary-pop-up-shop-pharrell-williams-2

For some reason the quintessential middle-American brand Gap is celebrating their 40th anniversary in London. A little weird i’d say, especially when Pharrel has his own capsule collection (which I want pieces from). The shop is open for 19 days and 69 hours and will also feature Pierre Hardy limited edition boots and accessories by Albertus Swanepoel.
