Jack Spade - Mill Leather Wayne Duffle

tfc_jackspadecarryonWith our passports renewed, flights being planned and our future placed in front of us like a runway, we’ve began to look to build or collection of travel accessories and necessities.

One piece that has my attention is the Mill Leather Wayne Duffle by Freshmen favorite Jack Spade.

The Mill Leather collection is classically styled and uses materials that only improve with everyday use. The soft hand of the leather makes for a pliable bag that is lightweight and practical without being precious. All bags are detailed with a custom herringbone lining, organizing pockets and custom die-cast Jack Spade hardware. The traditional styling and beautiful patina that comes with breaking in the bag makes mill leather a timeless collection.

I mentioned the Tarpaulin Dry Dopp Kit before and I think these piece is a perfect companion piece.

Coming From The Cold

tfc_cbc_redcanoeI came across this piece at The Drake General Store before dinner at the Drake Roof Top and thought it would be a proper carry-on piece for Jahvon.

I’m big on heritage pieces, especially ones that speak to our rich history here at home and the Red Canoe CBC Collection is a tribute to the imagery of Canada’s oldest existing broadcast company. The broadcaster’s history is thoughtfully woven into the collection’s design elements.

A quick FYI - The Drake General Store opened up a new location across the street from the brand new Thompson Toronto Hotel which features more of a home collection assortment. Their lovingly curated shops (Queen Street, Rosedale and now Bathurst) stock items from around the world, while, at the same time allowing them to support local art buddies and foster homegrown talent.

You can’t ask for a better approach than that.
